In conceiving and developing theEMPLOYEEapp, it wasn’t a group of techies looking to take advantage of the vast employee communications industry. Rather it was communications and human resource professionals with decades of experience consulting for organizations with real communications challenges and who realized that with the proliferation of mobile technology, an opportunity existed for their profession to be more efficient and effective in their work.
Starting in 2011, the APPrise Mobile team came together to create a turn-key solution that would allow non-tech professionals to take advantage of the fact that pretty much everyone now has an iPhone, iPad, Android or other web-enabled mobile device. We moved quickly to develop a solution that would allow for the implementation of a mobile communications strategy that didn’t require heavy IT involvement, was cost effective and secure. We did so based not on what we thought was needed in a technology solution, but rather based on what our clients told us they required.

As a corporate communications consultant in both internal and external communications strategies, Jeff spent the last 18 years leading a PR consulting firm before founding APPrise Mobile.
As CEO of APPrise Mobile, he is focused on pioneering the use of mobile in communications, helping enterprise clients with their internal communications strategies, and bringing his expertise and passion to each new client conversation.
Jeff holds a BA from Cornell and a JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
Doug has spent his 20+ year career in the delivery of software and related services in emerging technology for enterprise businesses.
As a leader of both Human Resources and teams of varying sizes, he has led employee communications and engagement in several organizations. At APPrise Mobile he leads our operating environment as well as delivery to clients through both product and people.
Doug holds an MBA from Michigan University and a BS from The Ohio State University.
As a proven leader in sales and client management in fast-growth companies, Rachel leads new client acquisition for APPrise Mobile.
Most recently, Rachel led sales and client services for the B2B group at Meetup, building the team, strategies and structures to grow the business before its acquisition by WeWork. Previously, she held sales roles at S&P Capital IQ and Bloomberg LP.
Rachel is a graduate of the Rotman School of Business at University of Toronto.
Dave has more than 14 years of software engineering experience, in employee communications and mobile apps, as well as video games, education and finance solutions.
Dave leverages his diverse technical experience to build and lead the APPrise Mobile development team as well as guide both internal and client technology solutions.
Dave studied computer science at NYU.
Amy has a passion for internal communication and engaging the deskless workforce. Prior to joining APPrise, she spent the last decade at Chipotle Mexican Grill where she built the internal communications function and most recently, launched the Pepper App (built through APPrise) to over 3500 employees.
Having been a restaurant manager herself, Amy intimately understands the needs of frontline employees. She knows how to target information and create content strategies to drive engagement, employee advocacy, and bottom line results. At APPrise Mobile she leads client strategy and will help our clients find the highest levels of success with their EMPLOYEEapp and overall communication strategy.
Amy received her BAA in Integrated Public Relations from Central Michigan University.
Josh and his team are laser focused on our clients, from onboarding and support to optimizing success measures including adoption and engagement.
Josh is pursuing his MBA at the NYU Stern School of Business and received his BA in Management & HR from The University of Wisconsin-Madison.
